Bottom Drawer
Starting with the research about Chinese traditional wedding costumes, I explored the meanings and origins behind those embroidery patterns.
Employed the classic rectangular shape from Asian apparel, at meanwhile, I manipulated the fabric by dyeing and painting the unique pattern on silk. Following the creation of a conversational embroidery pattern, I generated my embellishment by interviewing my subject and transforming her affection into a representative image.
